Candle Care

When lighting for the first time burn until wax melts across entire surface to the sides of candle jar (this prevents tunneling & creates an even burn for the duration of the candle’s burn time). This may take up to 2-4 hours
Trim wick to 5 mm before each burn for an even burn, steady flame and limit soot build up on the jar and mushrooming (ball of carbon) on the wick. If soot forms on the inside of the candle jar extinguish candle wait for it to cool then wipe with a clean cloth. Trim wick and relight
Keep the candle wax free of wick trimmings, matches at all times. We recommend the candle to be extinguished with a snuffer, or dip wick into melted wax and then straighten wick to prevent smoking and also prevent hot wax from splattering. Do not blow out the candle. Draughts decrease burn time, cause uneven burning, smoking & low scent throw
Extinguish the candle if it smokes, flickers, or the flame becomes too high. These signs indicate the candle is not burning properly and the flame isn’t controlled. Let the candle cool, trim the wick before relighting. Always store your candles in a cool dry place, Avoid placing your candle where they will be directly exposed to sunlight. Always read and follow the warning label for correct use and safety. We do not recommend a Candle be burnt for longer than a maximum of 4 hours
